Map of Western Australia

Western Australia covers more than 2.5 million square kilometres of land (roughly the same size as Europe). It's a huge, barren state and most of it is completely deserted, apart from a string of towns along the coastal highways, and a few scattered inland mining centres such as Kalgoorlie and Laverton.
